Surf Coast Pest Control Termite Inspections

Our inspections involve utilising state of the art termite detection devices known as TERMATRAC's to scan the internal wall cavities for concealed termite activity. The external areas of the structure are inspected along with the garden areas where termites are most commonly found. Fungal decay and wood borers are also inspected for during inspections as the conditions which allow these pests and diseases to flourish go hand in hand with termites.

Upon the completion of an inspection a verbal summary is provided to the client and a written report is created to outline the findings and provide recommendations to reduce the clients risk of future termite infestations.

In the event termite damage or activity is located during an inspection a quote is provided for a termite management system to protect the building. 

• We provide recommendations the client can implement themselves to reduce risk of termite infestations
• Not only do we inspect for timber pests but inspections of the plumbing fixtures are conducted to ensure there aren't any leaks 
• Overall drainage for the site is assessed to ensure excessive moisture build up isn't present on-site
• We're always keeping an eye out for other general pest infestations we may come across whilst in a roof or under the house

• If possible remove furniture and stored items away from the walls 
• DO NOT disturb suspected termite damage as this may cause termites to vacate and return later in a new area
• DO NOT use household pest sprays or products on termites or suspected termites as this can hinder potential treatment options
