Reliable & Trustworthy Services
We offer a range of termite management systems for a wide variety of construction types and situations. Whether you're building a house or require termite protection for an existing structure we can provide the best suited solution for you. Feel free to call us for a free consultation and site visit.
Termite Control Methods:
Treated Zones:
Treated Zones are installed around the perimeter of a building to isolate the infesting colony from the structure. This method involves trenching and treating soil or injecting the liquid termiticide under neath a concrete structure to form a continuous treated zone or barrier. Termites are unaware they are traveling through the treated soil which provides a significant decrease in the colony numbers and potentially can achieve colony collapse.
This method is the preferred option for the destructive species of termites commonly found in our area. A liquid treated zone provides a quick and effective method of control and usually takes 1-2 days providing on-going protection.
Baiting & Monitoring Program:
This option is commonly used in certain construction types, such as multi complexes where a continuous treated zone cannot be installed or when a client prefers a non-toxic method of controlling the infestation. Using Exterra's requim we install an above ground station directly over the termite workings, termites consume the cellulose material within the station and eventually transmit the active back to the nest where colony collapse takes place.
This method can take up to 12-months and doesn't provide on-going protection. As an alternative a monitoring program is usually installed after the baiting program is completed to provide an on-going monitoring system to assist in detecting any additional colonies attacking the structure.
Colony Control:
If a termite nest is located during an inspection a colony control option is provided to directly treat and eradicate a nest. Using either a foam, dust or direct injection of a liquid termiticide into a tree or stump the nest is treated directly to provide instant results.

Physical Barriers:
To protect a slab construction or engaged brick foundation a polymer sheet or geotextile fabric impregnated with a termiticide is installed to provide on-ongoing effective protection for the buildings life (50 years). This method is the most environmentally friendly and least-toxic termite control system available on the market. We are accredited to install Greenzone & Termseal products and would highly recommend installing this system for new constructions.
Reticulation Systems:
A Reticulation System involves installing a pipe system around the perimeter of a structure to provide a non-invasive option of recharging a system's treated zone without having to trench the soil again. This system is installed with multiple re-fill points located around the structure based on the manufacturers specifications.
